This unit applies to pest management planning at a local level and is likely to be undertaken independently, with reference to specialist advice.
This unit covers implementing pest management actions plans and defines the standard required to: schedule activities with milestones aligned to the target pests and the local land management and production cycles; estimate equipment, pesticides and labour required to complete the work; brief and supervise employees or contractors and consult with stakeholders; coordinate contingency management activities to minimise the damage caused by accidents or spillage; report progress in relation to the pest management action plan.
