This unit covers the performance of cable pit/trench/excavation rescue procedures as they apply to live low voltage (LV) cable jointing in the workplace. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a cable pit/trench/excavation and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions.
