- Identify and report hazards and risks
- Aviation hazards and risks to operational objectives are identified
- Hazard type and risk components are identified and dealt with in accordance with workplace standards and regulatory requirements
- Hazards and risks in the workplace are reported to appropriate personnel in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
- Personal protective clothing and equipment is correctly used, in accordance with established safety practices and procedures
- Established emergency procedures and contingency plans are followed in an emergency
- Contribute to managing aviation WHS/OHS
- Fatigue risks are identified and communicated to designated personnel, in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
- Other WHS/OHS issues are identified and communicated to designated personnel in accordance with workplace procedures and relevant WHS/OHS legislation
- Participative contributions to WHS/OHS management in the workplace are made, in accordance with workplace procedures and provisions of relevant legislation
