- Dry cleaning machine loads are accurately determined by counting, weight, volume or classification
- Dry cleaning machines are operated in accordance with manufacturer and workplace procedures
- Correct load size or weight is determined by accurately reading indicator scales
- Dry cleaning schedules are followed for a given process or article
- Dry cleaning machine operator instructions are correctly followed
- Records are completed
- Workplace procedures and instructions are read and interpreted
- Operate dry cleaning machine
- Machine is loaded with correct weight for machine according to garment classification, manufacturer specifications, workplace procedures and OHS practices
- Program is correctly selected for load type or classification
- Additive dispensing is correctly selected and prepared for dosing system, where relevant
- Machine is operated in accordance with operating instructions
- Additives and dosing are monitored for correct operation and faults reported where appropriate
- Machine operation and dry cleaning procedures are monitored
- Garments are unloaded using correct manual handling techniques where required
- Records are completed
- Knowledge of machine operating processes are applied to perform required tasks
- Monitor machine operation
