Elements and Performance Criteria
- Plan and prepare mine emergency preparedness and response systems
- Access, interpret and apply fire team operations documentation and ensure the work activity is compliant
- Obtain, read, interpret, clarify and confirm work requirements
- Identify and address potential risks, hazards and environmental issues and implement control measures
- Identify, collect, access and interpret mine survey data and historical information relating to the mine site
- Identify, in consultation with key stakeholders, the requirements of the systems in accordance with legislative and organisation’s requirements, and from an analysis of all relevant technical and operational information
- Identify, and consider implications of, the resources required to implement and apply the systems
- Identify, in consultation, the key reporting areas and timeframes
