These competencies from the MSS Sustainability Training Package meet the minimum industry requirements for improving energy usage for a work area.

This Skill Set targets team leaders, technicians or similar people who have sufficient authority to undertake limited changes in their work area with a view to improving energy usage for that work area. This may be as either an independent project or as part of a larger organisation or process-wide improvement project.

These units can provide credit towards the MSS40116 Certificate IV in Sustainable Operations. These units may also be applied where other aspects of sustainability are identified as the priority issues in which case a Statement of Attainment will be issued instead of the Skill Set.
