Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to design and produce desktop published documents.It applies to individuals who work in a range of environments, which may include providing administrative support within an enterprise, or who may be technical or knowledge experts responsible for production of their own documents.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in the information and communications technology – IT use field of work and include access to: organisational policies and procedures relevant workplace documentation and resources industry software packages and user instructions. Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational education and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards. |
