Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge needed to collaborate on the design of television or radio broadcasting facilities.It applies to individuals responsible for working with clients to determine the best way of designing facilities that meets current needs and, wherever possible, anticipates future needs. They must have highly developed liaison and negotiation skills, and be good communicators. They generally work on a contract basis or with companies that specialise in the design and installation of broadcasting facilities.No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of endorsement. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in creative arts industry environments. The assessment environment must include access to: situations requiring design of broadcasting facilities interaction with others information on industry regulations and standards relevant to the design and installation of broadcasting facilities. Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational educational and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards. |
