Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to coordinate personnel during a studio shoot for screen, media or entertainment productions. It applies to individuals who act as the link between the control room and the studio floor. They ensure sets, props and technical equipment are safe, ready to use and in the right place prior to broadcast, and are often responsible for audiences being seated promptly. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in creative arts industry environments. The assessment environment must include access to: production contexts that require a floor manager interaction with others involved in productions intended for broadcast tools and equipment for communicating in a live production environment. Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational educational and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards. |
