Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to research potential sites for artwork in order to identify those that best reflect and support the key ideas of the work. The unit involves developing work plans and procedures for the installation of the artwork once the site is determined.It applies to individuals who work in all areas of creative practice. Typically their work environment would be in a public art context involving the creation of artworks in public spaces. At this level, the individual would be expected to exercise autonomy and judgement and may work collaboratively.No licensing, legislative or certification conditions apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in creative arts industry environments. The assessment environment must include access to: sites typically used for artworks sources of information about sites. Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational educational and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards. |
