Element: Identify supply requirements
  • Confirm projected requirements for TCF stock supplies, product quantities, quality and delivery schedules
  • Document identified issues and problems concerning projected requirements
  • Identify and confirm resources, supply requirements and availability of machines and personnel
  • Identify regular and occasional supply needs and document conditions
  • Determine the flow rate for each category of TCF product
       
Element: Determine organisation requirements for suppliers
  • Establish business conditions and corporate social responsibility requirements for supply arrangements in consultation with senior management
  • Confirm specifications for raw materials, products and production processes
  • Establish appropriate testing procedures to confirm product and material quality
  • Analyse import and export rules and regulations for international sources to determine effect on supply conditions
  • Establish communication and documentation protocols

  • Obtain and confirm specific information relating to TCF supply chain capacity
  • Establish internal processes to ensure receipt and supply of TCF products meet ethical practice, organisation conditions, quality standards and resource requirements
  • Collect and analyse information to assess purchasing organisation’s viability
  • Obtain terms of payment offered by each buyer, negotiate for advantage and analyse for impact on finances
  • Conduct ongoing research to assess new trends and conditions that may influence supply and demand

  • Maintain documentation and prepare reports to ensure supply chain information is accurate and current
  • Analyse performance indicators to assess supply efficiency and corporate social responsibility obligations

Assessment Tasks
