Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency involves the skills and knowledge required to manage search and rescue operations in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.The unit is applicable to individuals undertaking limited search and rescue activities in support of national Search and Rescue (SAR) authorities. Team members and crews may be members of a range of government and/or non-government agencies or organisations.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.
