Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency involves the skills and knowledge required to interpret building plans and associated documentation for fire safety systems and to produce a report that meets organisational requirements.The unit applies to personnel who are authorised by their organisation to assess building plans, and their application at various sites and to ensure they comply with regulatory requirements.The fire sector is those sections of government departments, statutory authorities or organisations that have responsibility under jurisdictional arrangements for the delivery of firefighting and fire management services.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

Assessment Tasks
