Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit of competency involves the skills and knowledge required to implement public safety risk prevention strategies which can be used to reduce risks to the community. It includes providing advice on prevention strategies, implementing and monitoring prevention strategies and reviewing the implementation of prevention strategies.The unit is applicable to personnel required to work with individuals and community groups to implement public safety risk prevention strategies within their area of responsibility.The fire sector is those sections of government departments, statutory authorities or organisations that have responsibility under jurisdictional arrangements for the delivery of firefighting and fire management services.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
