Application
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to purge explosive ordnance or containers. It includes preparing for explosive ordnance testing, conducting and monitoring purging and finalising purging procedures. This unit applies to persons who are required to purge explosive ordnance or containers. Purging of explosive ordnance or containers is required to be performed on a range of explosive ordnance and specialised containers during maintenance processes. The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
