Application
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare for and manage a seafood product recall. It includes the ability to determine sources of problems, report non-conformance, take decisions to implement a recall, communicate to stakeholders and conduct post-recall reviews.
The unit applies to individuals who manage the processes involved in accepting and disposing of recalled seafood product that are found to be an unacceptable risk.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

1.
