Application
Persons achieving competence in this unit will need to fulfil the applicable legislated state rail safety requirements together with any nationally approved compliance codes and/or guidelines. Work is generally performed without supervision and within a team environment. It involves the application of routine operational principles and procedures to stable electric passenger trains as part of workplace activities across a variety of operational contexts within the Australian rail system. |

3Conduct post-stabling checks | 3.1 Post-operational checks of the train are conducted in accordance with workplace procedures 3.2 If required, problems and defects are identified and reported/rectified in accordance with workplace procedures, regulatory requirements and manufacturers instructions 3.3 If required, safety devices are activated or put in position to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment 3.4 If required, reporting/documentation is completed in accordance with workplace procedures |
