Application
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to solve electrical problems in remote community network systems in the electricity supply industry (ESI). It includes solving electrical problems on network systems in a remote community, completing work safely, documenting problem-solving activities and providing solutions to predictable problems on remote community network systems. It also includes working safely; diagnosing problems; applying problem-solving procedures; and using voltages, currents and resistance measuring devices to provide solutions derived from measurements and calculations to predictable circuit/systems problems. The application of the skills and knowledge described in this unit may require a licence/registration to practice in the workplace. Other conditions may apply under state and territory legislative and regulatory licensing requirements which must be confirmed prior to commencing this unit. |
