Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).

mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

Elements and Performance Criteria

Elements describe the essential outcomes.

Performance criteria describe what needs to be done to demonstrate achievement of the element.

1. Identify tilt-up construction and risk management processes.

1.1 Identify and describe relationships between each stage of the tilt-up construction process and the following stage, and typical faults, problems, hazards and possible effects if design and safety requirements are not met.

1.2 Identify and describe basic principles of risk management and duty-holders responsible.

1.3 Identify and describe minimum requirements for a safe work method statement (SWMS) for each task as outlined in the National Code of Practice for Precast, Tilt-Up and Concrete Elements in Building Construction (the National Code), and the duty-holder responsible for its preparation and compliance.

1.4 Identify and describe minimum requirements for a work plan and/or work health and safety (WHS) management plan for tilt-up construction, as outlined in the National Code.

1.5 Identify available skills training opportunities relevant to own work, role and responsibilities.

2. Identify information relating to safe tilt-up construction.

2.1 Identify and describe regulatory information relevant to own work, role and responsibilities.

2.2 Identify and describe own role and responsibilities and those of others relevant to tilt-up construction.

2.3 Identify and describe general work procedures, documentation, drawings and plans for carrying out the tilt-up construction process relevant to own work, role and responsibilities.

2.4 Identify and describe general safety requirements for equipment and tools used in the tilt-up construction process relevant to own work, role and responsibilities.

3. Identify procedures relating to safe tilt-up construction to maintain own safety and that of others.

3.1 Communicate with others to establish that key safety requirements have been met for preceding stages of tilt-up construction.

3.2 Identify and describe general procedures for responding to, rectifying and reporting faults, problems and hazards relevant to own work, role and responsibilities.

3.3 Identify methods and procedures used to control tilt-up construction hazards, including the content of the work plan and/or WHS management plan and SWMSs relevant to own work, role and responsibilities.

3.4 Identify and describe sequence of tasks and activities relevant to own work, and review adequacy of the associated SWMS by conducting a job safety analysis (JSA).
