1. Plan removal processes

1.2 Establish, confirm and clarify purpose and required outcome of the removal with appropriate personnel

1.3 Determine location of the leadlight and stained glass panels to be removed and inspect for information relevant to the process

1.4 Review condition report and identify required removal sequence

1.5 Develop a removal work plan with approval of relevant people

2. Prepare for removal

2.1 Assemble, position tools and equipment and check prior to use to ensure they are appropriate for the removal, serviceable and in a safe condition

2.2 Prepare and position supporting frames and storage materials

2.3 Assemble and position plans and other documents to allow for confirmation of the panel structure and placement

2.4 Take photographs of the panel before, during and after removal

3. Remove the panel

3.1 Secure supporting frames to the panel using established techniques

3.2 Remove and store panel structural supports in ways that protect the item
