Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).

mark up the unit in a wiki markup codes, ready to copy and paste into a wiki page. The output will work in most wikis but is designed to work particularly well as a Wikiversity learning project.

Elements describe the essential outcomes.

Performance criteria describe the performance needed to demonstrate achievement of the element.

1. Prepare for work

1.1 Identify and follow work health and safety, legislative and organisational requirements

1.2 Correctly identify work requirements and process from review of documentation or customer feedback

1.3 Confirm subfloor suitability for installation consistent with Australian Standards and manufacturer recommendations.

1.4 Select suitable and matching timber materials for repair in required quantities

1.5 Select and check tools, equipment and other materials prior to use to ensure that they are appropriate for the work, serviceable and in a safe condition

1.6 Plan sequence of work to ensure efficiency and quality of application

2. Set out materials

2.1 Check timber flooring to be installed against work order and acclimatise to align replacement materials with original and remaining floor materials

2.2 Accurately measure area to be repaired and clearly mark starting points

2.3 Remove or prepare damaged sections of floor in accordance with workplace procedures

2.4 Select and prepare suitable adhesives and/or fasteners, fillers and/or stains in accordance with workplace procedures

3. Repair flooring

3.1 Cut replacement flooring materials to provide appropriate alignment of joins

3.2 Use adhesives and/or fasteners in accordance with workplace procedures and manufacturer recommendations

3.3 Install replacement flooring materials to produce required finish

3.4 Fill and/or re-stain to achieve match with existing flooring

4. Complete housekeeping

4.1 Store and recycle unused materials in accordance with workplace procedures

4.2 Check, clean and store tools and equipment in accordance with workplace procedures

4.3 Clean work area and dispose of rubbish safely

4.4 Accurately complete required workplace documentation
