1. Plan and prepare for operations

1.1 Obtain, read, confirm and apply work instructions

1.2 Access, interpret and apply documentation required to trip production string for well servicing operations and confirm work activity is compliant

1.3 Identify and minimise environmental issues and potential hazards, and assess and address risks within scope of own role and according to workplace procedures

1.4 Select and wear personal protective equipment required for work activities

1.5 Communicate with other personnel at site according to work requirements and confirm briefings and handover details are communicated and received

2. Prepare to trip tubulars

2.1 Check grade/s of tubing

2.2 Supervise crew in positioning tubing on racks

2.3 Measure and record tubing

2.4 Identify joint by the numerical order in which it will be run in the hole and its measured length

2.5 Supervise crew to remove thread protectors, drift tubing, clean and lubricate threads

2.6 Check for damage to joints, threads and sealing surfaces

2.7 Assemble and check operating conditions of tubing running equipment, including slips, tongs, elevators, dog collar, protectors and tailing ropes

2.8 Line up pumps to fill casing/take fluid during tripping operation

2.9 Prepare rod racking system to stand back, run in, lay down or pick-up rod where applicable

3. Trip tubulars and operate racking system

3.1 Visually check the elevator latch, identify faults and report as required

3.2 Release rod from elevators and rack in proper position and secure when pulling out of the hole

3.3 Latch elevators onto tubulars and stabilise while stabbed
