Assessment Template
generate a spreadsheet for marking this unit in a classroom environment. Put student names in the top row and check them off as they demonstrate competenece for each of the unit's elements and performance criteria.
Assessment Matrix
a slightly different format than the assessment template. A spreadsheet with unit names, elements and performance criteria in separate columns. Put assessment names in column headings to track which performance criteria each one covers. Good for ensuring that you've covered every one of the performance criteria with your assessment instrument (all assessement tools together).

1. Participate in pre-round preparation.

1.1 Identify the advanced tactics and strategies of golf to be developed in consultation with the coach or mentor.

1.2 Analyse strengths and weaknesses of past performance.

1.3 Determine appropriate psychological methods and techniques commonly used at the advanced level of golf to enhance performance during pre-round preparation.

1.4 Develop individual tactical plans and strategies in consultation with the coach or mentor.

1.5 Identify the role of the coach or mentor and support staff regarding tactics for training, team preparation and competitive situations.

2. Assess conditions for a competition.

2.1 Assess the environment, and confirm it meets golf rules, regulations and policies in consultation with the coach or mentor.

2.2 Assess resources and equipment according to golf rules, regulations and policies.

2.3 Take appropriate action in response to unsuitable conditions.

3. Implement advanced tactics and strategies.

3.1 Apply tactics and strategies to counter weaknesses and take advantage of strengths.

3.2 Adopt psychological approaches identified in pre-round preparation.

3.3 Implement identified tactical plans in a safe manner, according to golf rules, regulations and policies, relevant legislation and organisational policies and procedures.

3.4 Monitor and refine plans, tactics and strategies according to the stage and situation of the round.

3.5 Maintain effective communication with coach or mentor in order to enhance own performance.

4. Participate in post-round analysis and follow-up.

4.1 Review advanced tactics and strategies implemented throughout round, and identify strengths and areas requiring improvement in consultation with the coach or mentor.

4.2 Debrief on round or rounds and analyse own strengths and weaknesses in relation to tactics and strategies for future rounds.

4.3 Analyse statistics to assist with modifying tactics and strategies to improve performance.
