Elements and Performance Criteria
- Plan to implement and monitor environmental and sustainable energy management policies and procedures
- Work is prioritised and sequenced for completion within acceptable timeframes following consultation with relevant personnel and in accordance with workplace procedures
- Job requirements and workplace procedures are identified and communicated with relevant personnel
- Hazards are identified, WHS/OHS risks assessed and control measures prioritised, implemented and monitored in accordance with workplace procedures
- Relevant work permits are obtained, understood and signed onto in accordance with workplace procedures
- Plant, equipment, tools and personal protective equipment required for work is identified, obtained and confirmed in working order
- Liaison and communication issues with authorised personnel, authorities, clients and land owners are resolved to perform work, as required
- Personnel participating in work are fully briefed and responsibilities confirmed in accordance with workplace procedures
- Worksite is prepared to minimise risk, damage to property, commerce and individuals in accordance with workplace procedures
- Traffic management is planned and implemented in accordance with workplace procedures
- Carry out the implementation and monitoring of environmental and sustainable energy management policies and procedures
- First Aid, pole top rescue and other related work procedures are performed in accordance with job requirements and/or workplace procedures
- Requirements for lifting, climbing, working at heights, confined spaces and use of power tools/equipment are followed in accordance with workplace procedures
- Hazard warnings and safety signs are recognised and hazards and assessed WHS/OHS risks and risk control measures are implemented, preventative action taken and monitored and/or appropriate authorities consulted, where necessary, in accordance with requirements and workplace procedures
- Remedial actions are taken to overcome shortfalls encountered in the work schedule in accordance with job requirements and workplace procedures
- Environmental and sustainable energy management policies and procedures are implemented and monitored in accordance with work schedules, job requirements and workplace procedures
- Environmental and sustainable energy management policies and procedures are implemented and monitored to ensure completion in agreed timeframes, to quality standards and with minimum waste in accordance with workplace procedures
- Solutions to non-routine problems are identified and actioned in accordance with workplace procedures
- Quality checks of work are undertaken in accordance with industry standards and workplace procedures
- Complete the implementation and monitoring of environmental and sustainable energy management policies and procedures
- Accidents, incidents and/or injuries are reported in accordance with requirements and workplace procedures
- Worksite is rehabilitated, cleaned up and confirmed safe in accordance with workplace procedures
- Tools, equipment and surplus resources and materials are cleaned, checked and returned to storage in accordance with workplace procedures
- Relevant work permit/s are signed off, work completed/returned to service and client/customer advised in accordance with job requirements
- Work completion records, reports and information are confirmed, processed and relevant person/s notified
