Elements and Performance Criteria

  1. Prepare to control and monitor safety compliance for vegetation work near live electrical apparatus

  10. Client issues are referred to appropriate personnel in accordance with workplace procedures
  11. Worksite is prepared to minimise risk, damage to property, commerce and individuals in accordance with workplace procedures
  12. Work schedule is prepared to produce a quality outcome, follow sustainable energy principles and practices, and to minimise risk and damage to property, commerce, stock and individuals in accordance with workplace procedures
  13. Traffic management is checked as implemented in accordance with workplace procedures
  14. Perform control and monitoring of safety compliance for vegetation work near live electrical apparatus
  15. Requirements for lifting, climbing, working at heights and the use of power tools/equipment are followed in accordance with workplace procedures
  16. Person designated as safety observer positions themselves to obtain an unobstructed view of the vegetation control work
